O/T Rabbit

My daughter wants to try Rabbit for Christmas anybody tried it and recommendations to cook it.

I've had rabbit stifado which is cooked in red wine with baby onions. Lovely.

Thanks for your reply here we have Turkey on Thanksgiving so just wanted to change it up. Its just me and my daughter at Christmas.

One of those ingredients that only works in a stew form a bit like goat so nothing like having Turkey,Beef or lamb etc on your plate so I wouldn't be having it Christmas Day.

I have occasionally had rabbit as an evening meal and it is nice in a stew. But I wouldn't fancy it for Xmas dinner. It is a dark meat and is an acquired taste which not everyone likes
