O/T Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert-Wembley

Watched it - some brilliant stuff, Supergrass, Brian May with an acoustic Queen number that got the eyes watery, Dave Grohl playing every instrument and singing with different big names, McCartney doing a great job of Helter Skelter despite his age, but the killer was Taylor Hawkins’ 16 year old drumming perfectly to the Foo’s There Goes My Hero, which caused there to be a lot of dust in the air which set my eyes off completely.
Nice to see how much other musicians thought of him, and nobody was plugging a new album as another reason to be there.

The Brian May bit was quite emotional. Loved Supergrass and the footage of their tour with Taylor from back in the day.

Taylors lad drumming to My Hero was a real lump in the throat moment. My god that lad can drum!

The tough part was Tikes Like These. Grohl breaking down during it was so sad and set me off

What song did Brian May sing? Watched Foo Fighters a few times, Brilliant live act. RIP Taylor Hawkins
Love Of My Life

Him and Roger Taylor did a couple of other Queen tracks.

Interesting Rogers son drummed for a couple of Foo's songs later on. Looks like Taylor Hawkins, especially from a rear view when drumming
