Missing all her Easter appointments and now Harry and Meghan have flown in to see her, all a bit ominous?

Well said CMThis lady has devoted her life to serving the people of the UK, and is no doubt one of the most respected figures in the world. Few on here will remember her father or the Coronation. I saw it on a little (big for the day) 10 inch Bush Black & White TV, but didn't really understand what was going on. She deserves all our respect, whether royalist or not, for what she has done for the reputation of this once great country. Long Live the Queen and may she see her deserved platinum Jubilee.
Very fair points Curryman. She has spent a whole life doing her duty by the country. It's a concept that is sadly losing ground. This lady has devoted her life to serving the people of the UK, and is no doubt one of the most respected figures in the world. The sad thing is she's never had a choice. She's had to get on with her lot and it's been a long time doing it. I feel for her because I bet she's yearned desperately for a normal life. This lady has devoted her life to serving the people of the UK, and is no doubt one of the most respected figures in the world. I bet she's yearned for her offspring to step up to the plate and in a lot of things they've been sadly lacking. I'll probably let Anne off from that criticism. The sad thing is she's never had a choice. She's had to get on with her lot and it's been a long time doing it. You didn’t understand what was going on when you were 32??This lady has devoted her life to serving the people of the UK, and is no doubt one of the most respected figures in the world. I am not sure she remembers what a “normal life” is. Nor whether she has ever thought it possible. HMQ was 10 years old when she became heir to the throne. It has been often reported that she regarded her coronation oath and the anointment in the abbey as a sacred undertaking. So sacred in fact, that she thinks her monarchy is a divine appointment directly from God. Apparently, she resembles Charles I in that respect. Without the stupidity, of course. The sad thing is she's never had a choice. She's had to get on with her lot and it's been a long time doing it. Pretty much my thoughts, oh and Charles is a bellend so it's best if she hangs on in there.I think, more or less for everyone on here, The Queen has been pretty much a constant in our lives and, though no Royalist myself by any means, the World will seem a sadder place without her in it. I guess they are keeping her wrapped in cotton wool for her Platinum Jubilee, which would be a non-event should she pass before then.
Extended funeral instead?Hope she holds on to the extended jubilee bank holiday
This might be the first time the Queen and the phrase ‘10 inch black bush’ have been used in the same sentence...This lady has devoted her life to serving the people of the UK, and is no doubt one of the most respected figures in the world. Yes, twenty official days of mourning. I love the Queen and this would be a fitting tribute.Extended funeral instead?
They flew in purely for their Netflix bollocks nothing else and yes the Queen is struggling due to her age but those wankers will exploit any situation if it benefits them, horrible couple!Missing all her Easter appointments and now Harry and Meghan have flown in to see her, all a bit ominous?
