o/t What time on a Sunday morning is unsociable for noise?

Well the girl next door to us started playin the drums at 8am👀
She did however stop at 10 past!!
Damage already done😖🤣🤣

Its nice that you are considerate enough to think of your neighbours. My neigbours couldnt care less, lawnmower comes out at 8am most weekends.

If im doing some work in the garage i tend to leave it until after 11 I think thats a considerate time.

Women next door has her radio blasting out at 07.00 every day. Sometimes earlier.😟
Are we neighbours Dave 🧐
Only joking 🙃

I think anything after 9.30 is fine. There’s always ear plugs if someone wants silence after then.

What kind of grass have they got that grows through the winter?

Next door but one are having work done on their house, presumably by a builder who is a friend as he arrives at 8am every Sunday morning with his array of power tools. Fkn annoying now after a month of it.

When on night shifts ANY noise at any time during the day is abhorrent.

Don't let me get going about barking dogs, lawn mowing, DIY freaks, noisy bikes/cars, door bells, people talking, garden parties, gates slamming, window cleaners, people hanging washing out, seagulls, garden birds, aeroplanes, space ships, ferries, fog horns, tv too loud, people talking on the phone, people texting on the phone (god damn tap tap tap)

Good job I'm a very tolerant kinda person when on night shifts 👍👿😠

"'Try to carry out unavoidable noisy activities in sociable hours, which the National Society for Clean Air and Environmental Protection defines as being between 8am and 7pm weekdays and Saturday, and between 10am and 5pm Sundays. ' Always check your Local Authority website for their restrictions"

For the last two weeks the guy that lives opposite has been grinding something. Absolutely not a clue what would require such persistent grinding. He has a nice house and a massive motor home. My guess is that he's "altering" the inside of his motor home. He could have ground Buckingham Palace to rubble in the time he's taken. From morning till afternoon all day for 2 weeks. The sound of a Japanese Zero kamikaze fighter plane all day. Normally the street is dead.

I work upstairs and normally crank the window open for a bit of fresh air. But no. Window shut and fan on as the next dive bomber falls from the sky.

Shift work is the Devil’s work. Fcuks you up long term.

Our neighbour has the full tange of power tools which he uses for hours at a time and mainly on Sundays, however we see no changes or improvements to his house / garden. So Im not sure what the hell he is doing.
We used to call him "Power Tool Pete", now we just call him "Tool"...😡
