I wasn't too sure about him at first tonight but he gradually grew in confidence and impacted the game in the 2nd half. Ok it was against their U-21s but he did one driving run from midfield that caught my attention. Kouassi, Dembele and now Oakley-Boothe suggest we are getting some results from our recruitment team.

Yeh he looked a nice tidy player with something about him. Not sure if he will be an anchor man like he played yesterday but happy to take the ball and progress it.

OB looked very steady indeed, impressive. And for anyone who wasn't there, the driving run was fully half the pitch, starting in our side facing back and turning their lad inside out to go round him. Lovely balance, went past several, deserved a goal on its own.

He did look very right sided, which we're already doing with Ollie Norburn. I'd love to see him again soon, see if he's got a more equal balance than last night appeared.

Seemed confident enough to make a forward pass too. It’s his fitness by the look of it that is holding his opportunities back

If he’s good get him involved in the 1st team, it’s not like he’s a young lad or inexperienced. Guys 23 with 23 previous appearances for Stoke at Championship level and 25 appearances for Lincoln last season at this level.

This is a really obvious thing to say.
Some players improve with a change of coach. Some players 'go backwards' with a change of coach.

Mike Garrity knew him from being the assistant manager at Lincoln, so I think he came in on trail because of that rather than actually being a player that was identified by our recruitment team.

When we signed him I looked at the Imps forum and they thought it was funny we'd signed him cos he was so bad for them and Matty V was a huge improvement. But hopefully there's a player in there that can be rejuvenated by the god like coaching skills of our very own imp.

Aside from Kouassi who kind of stole the show, TOB was probably the best of the rest. You have to take into account the opposition, they were 18yr old players, if he can't stand out against them we should really be questioning why he was brought into the club. He does look to have a good understanding of the game, he's a technically sound player and seems to have a bit of pace also. As above, he needs to get fully fit, if he can do that he may be a good option for our squad.
