I make not secret of the fact that I have all season been "Stick With Critch For Stability And It Will Come Good"

But after much "Confrontation" I have to submit and make the following points:

He keeps his job until "mathematically impossible" to make the play-offs (on yesterdays performance it won't be long!!).

With the injuries they had yesterday, (like Wigan last Saturday) Derby were there for the taking!!!!

I understand when a team has "parked the bus" in defence you "sometimes" have to come back "once or twice" BUT NOT "six/seven/eight" F.in times!!

With no end result (at least a shot at goal) it kills precious game-time especially when you have gone one nil down.

For all the talent we talk about we can't find anything to either get behind or round the opposition be it via speedy wing play,threading-through or wall.

Sorry Neil, unless you work a "six game miracle" and reach the play offs (and even that may not be enough) you must "fall on your sword" and do the honourable thing and resign!!!

If you don't and we have to sack you ?getting a pay off) then it will show m what sort of man you really are, and the fans (like me!) who respect you for what you achieved 2020/2022 will remove that respect immediately.

On a positive, we have the spine of a team for a new manager to work with so he won't be starting from scratch.
I know Dembele won't stay I would like us to try and permanently sign Coulson & Byers though.
I would love to keep Jordon Gabriel who we have supported through a long injury but I fear he'll go to pastures new.

Epateta can go for me as can the likes of Weir Virtue Carey CJ Hamilton to name but a few!!

i personally would like to see Jordon Rhodes being offered a player/coaching position to work alongside the likes of a Gary Bowyer Charlie Adam or even Ian Evett when if Bolton sack him for not getting promoted on his third attempt.

One thing is for certain....."I'll
be buying my ST as soon as they are released......if your not loyal enough to financially support the club, what right do you have to expect the club to succeed??!!

Can't disagree. The football this season has been on a par with some of the worst we have had to ensure from other managers.
Hendry, Megson(in parts) , Grayson 2nd time, Riga, Clark, etc etc.
The ethic and DNA of our club is attacking football which sadly at this present time and often in the past is sadly lacking. From Billy A onwards including Parkes, Alladyce, and Olly we have always forgiven managers who have produced attacking teams . Please whoever is in charge make it a cast iron mantra Attack, Attack Attack!!!

I don’t understand why we don’t change tactics sometimes? The game just ebbed away wasting too many minutes with over slow build up play.
We are better when we play with tempo.
It’s difficult to understand why we had some good home wins/performances and the exciting way we played at Bristol Rovers and then the nothing games away like Cheltenham 🤷🏽‍♂️ it’s got to be down mainly to the inflexible coach

We don’t change tactics because Critchley doesn’t know how. If his only plan isn’t working, the coaching manual doesn’t tell him what to do. That’s why in his first spell he was just as bad, until he had an experienced #2 thrust upon him. Unless he gets rid of the nodding dogs and appoints another Calderwood type, prepare for another season of the same.

I think at home teams don’t press us as much, home advantage for whatever reason is a thing.

No Wembley coach on order now then Ash? 🤔😂

Well whoopdedoo, TC says it’s time for action after lambasting fellow supporters for daring to criticise Critchley and now he’s “seen the light” he lays out a plan of action for Simon Sadler to put it right! And he’s still telling supporters what to do! Load of condescending old bollocks if you ask me.

I suppose he's holding his hands up & recognising what's been obvious to most all season. And Weir can go 🤷‍♂️

And all you have done all season is moan about everything SS has tried to achieve.
Funny how you STFU when we win as we have many times.
You have "F All" comments to contribute "strategically" just "throw your toys out of the pram" like a school child when things go wrong.

The club needed stabilising after last years merry go round.
MNy times this season it looked like coming together, but for the wheels to fall off again.
i accept it now done so too many times.

So as you have been right all along whose your choice for next manager?

I always comment positively on the wins and I have given nothing but praise to Sadler for all the great work and investment he has put into the club, but, righty, been critical of his choice in managers and his inexperience but stubbornness in overseeing the football side of things. It's great (and sad) that you've seen the light, because none of us want to be feeling like this, it's the fact you really laid into supporters for criticising Critchley and then when you see it yourself it's like, well, I've decided now so everyone else should do what I say and then have a pop at the supporters again for saying they won't go next season (They will, they are just pissed off now) it's not what you say, it's how you say it.

Retailers' loyalty cards reward customers for continued support.

Blackpool show appreciation with football as galvanising as watching paint dry.

Fans hail Sadler's purchase, along with plans for a training ground and stand.

Yet season ticket holders' failure to use their leverage accepts poor coaches.

The club's owner must find wiser counsel to prevent more disastrous appointments.

And he needs to attract a second custodian with cash for better players.

Players who can not only reach the Championship, but eye a Premier return.

Don't know really TC but someone I can connect with & importantly can attempt to change things before or during the 90 mins. I don't mean just making like for like subs on 67 mins.
I would rather be proved wrong than right, it's the progression of our team I put before grudges.
Just no signs of change with Critchley.

You’re absolutely right, but there’s not a cat in hell’s chance of him ever resigning. Why would he, from a ridiculous 4 year contract? It needs the owner to get rid. Acknowledge he got the wrong man (again) and come to an arrangement to pay Critchley off (though I’m not sure that will happen either).

NC sticks rigidly to the same FA coaching manual as Gareth Southgate.
As we're stuck with NC & if he wants to endear himself to the fans, he must throw that boring book in the bin and be brave in his coaching.
He would benefit from observing the the EFL coaches at Ipswich, Portsmouth, Stockport, Wrexham etc. They attack, score goals and win more than they lose.
Or he could spend a couple days with crazy Ollie, who coached to the model of "if they score 3, we score 4" , which entertained us and worked really well 😂

Hopefully Sadler was savvy enough to have a contract that like Appletons enables Critchley to be released from it.

Unfortunately Ash I must disagree with your last point. If you keep buying a product not as advertised (Attacking, Exciting football) or not fit for purpose then that in my opinion doesn't make you unloyal just a bit stupid.
As with lots of people at this moment money is tight and as I've said in another thread spending the best part of £400 to watch the entertainment that is being offered isn't justifiable. Therefore if Critchley is still in charge come next season I won't be spending my hard earned money on a season ticket.
And please don't put my loyalty to the club in question, as with the odious Oystons I had an opportunity to make my feelings felt towards them by withholding my money and not attending home games. And this I will do again whilst We have a manager that offers Me dire, mind numbing and soul destroying football. That won't stop me stll loving and supporting the club and its players and wanting them to do well.
Sorry Ash for the rant but I've had enough of Critchley and his Critchball style of play.

WOW, I would of thought our fans would of wanted success not someone with now record but hey ho
Local realises what club means
great player for Blackpool
Not defensive and understands the Blackpool way
6 games last season with appalling injury record gave us the best football possible
Claver enough to spot Morgan Rogers was a striker not a winger.
Knows the strengths and weaknesses of Pools players through all squads.
Would be given time by the fans esp with an old head to turn to for guidance.
We have tried established managers and they were disastrous
All successful managers have to start with no proven record
Wanted Evatt but that ship has sailed

I still think he's going nowhere and if we finish in the playoffs or within touching distance, even more so.
Seriously Wiz, I more than often respect your opinions on the Pool and tend to think at times you are the Forums 'Voice of Reason'....are you pleased with Critchleys second tenure?

Not away, no-one could be, but I have to say that yesterday the result has coloured views. We really should have got a point, and missed some really good chances. If we'd got that point, then the complete doom and gloom wouldn't be as deep.

At times, we play it too safe but I don't mind us keeping the ball. Hoofing it forward to cries of get it forward never ends well.

The problem is Wizz, whilst as you say keeping possession isn’t a bad thing, possession is a means to an end. Not an end in itself. If we played out with a purpose great, but we don’t. We play like the chuckle bros, to me, to you etc, making no progress at all. The opposition are closing Grimshaw down leaving him no option but the hoof. Which as you say gains us nothing, especially with our famous giants up front, Laverys and Dembele. Rinse and repeat.

Luckily, all seems to be going splendidly with the sentiments expressed in the o/p.

I feared a tidal wave o’disagreement, yet….🥴😉

Despite all that, Byers and Dembele really should have scored in the first half and God knows how we missed towards the end when we had two free men but were blocked out.
