Which I am still hoping doesn’t happen despite the performances over the last few months, what are our positives next season.

For me there are some good things in our favour on the face of it.

Tharme has a season of experience at League 1 level to partner Marv
Lyons looks a really good prospect
Gabriel and Thompson might be fit enough to drive the team forward from full back
Dale has clearly impressed at Pompey
Carey should be ready to be nailed on for the first team
Apter should be ready for first team duty
Jerry might actually be better suited to League 1 but we badly need a couple of new forwards with experience at that level

The biggest downside will be losing Rogers, Bowler, Poveda, Goode and to a lesser extent Patino and Fiorini.

We may also need a new keeper!

Maybe some of the development squad may also be ready to step up.

Clutching at straws???
 
I think most the squad we have would thrive in league one.

If we do go down, hopefully with the right recruitment we would be a team ready to bounce back to the Championship.

Yates is a 20 goal + a season man at that level. That's if we manage to keep him.

If we did with the addition of a big guy upfront we would be looking good at that level.
 
Yates & Gabriel wouldn't be here imo if we go down..Get rid of MM now and get someone in who is here for the long duration , at least he would have an idea of what he's up against for next season, otherwise it will be the ballache of recruiting for a new coach during the summer months,
