Would love to see more of them, what great picsLose a lot of quality shrinking them to post on here. The originals don’t look like they are the best part of 70 years old. Will post a few more when I get chance

Yes, unfortunately 2 months later 33 spectators died from crush injuries at Burnden Park Bolton due to overcrowded terrace. That’s one hell of an Health and Safety nightmare!!
My exact question tooWhat happened to Ishmels pictures?
Sharing is fine if if the ownership is repected and no one carries out digital shoplifting to gain brownie points on social media etc.I dont understand, whats wrong with sharing them ?

Not directed at you personally just the general misconception that images posted on the net (presumed "shared") are actually there just to look at and not download/repost etc unless licensed.Who are you like ? I was asking the lad who posted them.
Thanks for adding your thoughts. It's allowed. Not directed at you personally just the general misconception that images posted on the net (presumed "shared") are actually there just to look at and not download/repost etc unless licensed.
I remember 77/78 season the 5-2 home win against Charlton when the away fans on the Kop was less than 10. Alan Brown got potted a few days later with the team 4th in the table. Only at Blackpool.
Did those steps not in the south 1989 following Hillsborough?Brilliant picture of The Kop. Taken by my calculations between 1975 - 1985, probably closer to the earlier date. Dividing fence went up at the end of the 74/5 season, and steps coming out of the South Stand into the Paddock etc went in during the summer of 1985 and if you look closely there not there.
Also, wasn't there a sheet of metal placed down the fence at the away side of the Kop so that the fans couldn't see each other, I cant see that either on the picture.
That's my memory of it from the couple of times I was lucky enough to have gone on it as a kid.
GOE is right the steps were put in close season of 1985/86.Did those steps not in the south 1989 following Hillsborough?
Alfie I was wrong! I thought it was after Hillsborough but it was after heysel and Bradford.GOE is right the steps were put in close season of 1985/86.
Great pic clappers....even though Mr Burns looks like a slightly gormless werewolf.
I played a few games for Foxhall Boys U14s with John Armfield between the sticks. What a honour to play in the same team as an Armfield.
