Absence explained ..

"He was struggling with a disc in his neck during the week,” Critchley said.
"We were hoping with a little bit of rest and medication it would settle down, but it didn’t quite happen.
"We will just need to see how he is in the next couple of days to see if he can feature against Cheltenham.
"Sometimes it can go like that, but other times it can linger for longer- we just don’t know yet.”

Let’s hope it’s not reoccurring as Nordberg is vital to our promotion push. Hd has also made Kenneth a better player this season which has also been a big plus.

Norburn or Nordberg, we need him in midfield, biting ankles. Or, on the Scandinavian theme, like the pacu. (but that's testicles, if you're skinny dipping over there.)

Was thinking about a master of midfield whilst watching us at Oxford - 2nd half. Dougall positioned himself well in the centre of defensive midfield. Just right for taking the ball from the keeper, pivoting and moving play forward. Unfortunately he was either left alone in favour of a ball out to the wide defenders or, if he was played in he would pass it back to the keeper.

Update from Critchley:

“He’s a little bit better but still not quite right.
"He’s improved and hopefully he’ll keep improving to take the pitch against Peterborough on Saturday- because I’m sure he’ll want to play in that game.
"We’ll just give him as much time as possible.

I thought we missed his leadership qualities and organisational skills, second half we didn’t get going in midfield.
But it's certainly not worth risking him if not fit .
Looking forward to Saturdays game that should test us .UTMP
