1953 was the year of Her Late Majesty's Coronation and the year when she presented Blackpool with the FA Cup at Wembley.

As Saturday marks our first home game since the passing of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, both sets of supporters are invited to share in a minutes applause on the 53rd minute of tomorrow’s fixture against Norwich City.

Are the club involved as most grounds put a picture of the Queen up on the big screen or is it something thought out on Avftt or Twitter on a Friday night?

It’s absolutely right we do something as she was a Pool fan , you could see in the photo how chuffed she was that we won in 53. She even told Wills to go to Bloomfield Red to see the Blackpool Aces when we were in the prem.
Will we also be singing the full and correct version of the national anthem ? i.e. No Surrender!
