only took him 8 games...

He started the same XI at Wycombe as he did against Wigan and got his fingers burnt. So that'll probably never happen again. 😀

Neil Critchley might well start with the same 11 at Baaarnsley, but everything depends on the tactics he sends them out to play.
We were exceptional v Reading, so PLEASE send the team out and play as if it's a home match, instead of trying to keep a clean sheet until halftime, then trying to snatch a goal in the second half.

Interesting.
Think that’s one of his biggest common mistakes.
Let them worry about us, not the other way round.
All it achieves is to disrupt our own style.
I’m not sure it’s about ‘worrying about the opposition’ for Critchley, so much as a very detailed analysis of how best to expose them.

We saw his expertise used to superb effect in the Championship, when minor changes to personnel or in game strategy proved to be extremely fruitful.

In my view this so called ‘common mistake’ was the difference between the 16th place finish and comfortable 60 points in 21/22 and relegation the season that followed.

No chance I’m afraid

My concern is he hasn’t learned and he will soon be back to his ways of silly formations and set-ups, hope I’m wrong but I doubt it.
