Moving away from Coronavirus threads as I'm disagreeing with some.

Open golf from Lytham 2012 currently been played on Open YouTube channel. Im sure a few on here were there.

Yes I was there, I remember leaving early on the Sunday to avoid the traffic and at the time Adam Scott had a four shot lead with four holes to play, by the time I'd got home and switched on the TV it showed Ernie Els celebrating victory, I thought WTF has gone on, I mean how often does a pro golfer shoot four bogies on the spin? The poor lad has probably never done that since, the memory of that day must haunt him forever.

He got some redemption at the 2013 Masters but had to go to a multiple hole play off to do so. I agree with you though. He will never forget the day he had the Open trophy in his hands one minute and the next it was gone. Forever.

I couldn't believe it when he drove into the ditch on the dog leg. Think it messed with his head and he was still dwelling on that over the next few holes.

A bit like Sergio in the Open when Harrington beat him, had to wait a few years after before he picked up the green jacket.
