Was working this one out and I reckon Blackburn are weirdly the club that the most number of my mates support. Counted 8 this morning and so cranks up the importance of this one tomorrow!

Blackpool FC by a country mile, although I do have many colleagues that support all sorts of weird clubs.

At my age you don’t have what you might regard as mates, and those I would regard as mates are those I sit with at Bloomfield Road.
As I am not living on the Gold Coast my neighbours where interested are either City or United.Family wise in the UK then it would be Blackpool,Brighton and Spurs. The overseas ones who are genuinely interested in football are Man United, including the sister in law😳,Spurs( again😳),Newcastle and Derby County. The Derby one is by far the most passionate and has been since he was a teenager and he now in his sixties and the most realistic and clearly the most concerned right now.

One thing for certain I don’t even know a single Preston fan let alone call them a mate😉

Unfortunately my 2 sons support Blackburn, they were getting interested in football when they had Shearer & Sutton upfront & Jack Walker was spending so much money on the team.
I have failed 🥲

I'll say with respect to workmates, it's between PNE & Fleetwood. Actual close friends us & a closet Liverpool fan 🙄

Looking at the comments on this thread I wonder if I've misinterpreted the theme. Surely "opposition" discounts our club.

Red shite and Everton for me. Living on wirral and i know just three tranmere fans, which says it all about the tunnel rat mentality.

Huddersfield………wife’s family and friends.
2010-11: there was more tangerine in the village than the rest put together!

Well that’s what I thought as well.

Opposition could also mean a club in the same league but assuming it doesn’t:-

Spurs definitely.

One Pompey.

One Leeds.

One ex gooner. Gave up 😂

One MU - who admits the last match he went to was in the 1980s which says it all really.
