Thank you so much for your generous donation of signed shirts for our local patients and families of Trinity Hospice.

Just to let you they were auctioned at a recent ball which had raised a total of over £13,000!! I thought you would like to know it was part of such a successful event and thank you so much.

As you are aware we are facing unprecedented times here at the Hospice. Rest assured it is business as usual here caring for patients at end of life 24 hours a day. In fact we have increased our bed capacity by 50 percent to support the hospital and increased our support for patients out in the community, in nursing homes and of course our hospital nurses too.

Your generous donation will make sure the care we give here continues and many more people living here on the Fylde coast can receive the end of life care they deserve whether here at the Hospice or out in the community with our Hospice at Home.

Each we year we need £9 million to ensure that local people over the Fylde Coast receive this care and your donation contributes toward this enormous amount for which we are very grateful.

It’s heart-warming to know that we have the local support of so many generous people like yourselves who are making such a difference to people when they need it most.

Thank you again AVFTT for all you do for us. Your kindness means so much to so many.

Very best wishes from us all at Trinity Hospice.

Many thanks

Good to see the feedback.

£13k is about 12 hours worth of the money they need to fundraise for; so you can why the need as much support as they can get.

Well done GJJW, all who donated & BFC.
You're a very modest guy G, but we all know how much time, energy and commitment these things take.
Without wishing to upset anyone; if we diverted the overseas aide budget to directly caring for our sick and dying, that would life so much easier for the charities.

Cheers pal. Great team effort though.
