Yep, the filling isn’t so good but I like the pastry on them. And being tinned they keep forever in the larder.Frey Bentos are odd, we start in our young years thinking they're a posh pie when your mum cooks them, then realise they're bollocks for 60 years, then as soon as you hit 75 you're back on the Fray Bentos. Fact.

Marmalade
Mushrooms

I was the same with Beetroot and Celery, I missed many a playtime refusing to eat those two items, and yet I loved Beetroot butties.I wouldn't eat Beetroot until I was in my mid-twenties, due to being sick in primary school after eating it in a winter salad. I blamed the beetroot as its colour stood out in the mess. Silly, but true.
Wife had the latter this morning…the crunchy version on Thick Toasted( Black Sheep) Tiger Bread…I love salted peanuts and peanut satay style sauce but can’t bring myself round to peanut butter spreadsStill cant think of eating it as I have aged, tongue a great put off at buffets.
To this day I cant get my head around people having chocolate and peanut butter spreads for breakfast.
