We have the Premier League in its paywall form to thank for backing British. Alan Sugar persuaded the other Chairmen to go with Sky rather than ITV as he was the preferred supplier of satellite dishes and knew people would sign up for the new service. Total self interest. The others weren't so sure as it meant millions wouldn't be able to watch the games.
 
We had a brown Marina. British manufacturers did cars in colours that no one else was offering. No wonder they all went bust.

I would imagine it's just a very very competitive price Lytham. Wish really care about their customers and clearly are champions for providing the very best quality merch at the lowest possible price.

I mean a pair of titanium Police aviators for postage only you just will not get from the high street.
