OT - Sussex v Lancs - T20 Quarter Final - 1300

Double the score at 12 is usually a reasonable guide. That being the case, this could be very close.

Wright gone!! 73/5, this is definitely game on.

They are such a tough bowling unit this Lancs outfit. They really seem to bowl better having left a smaller total. Never beaten put it that way.

Excellent bowling Parky, and of course great keeping by Davies
Between Livingstone and Parky:

6 0 22 6 - WOW

Bugger - good 6 though

Superb, every credit to Croft and Vilas for putting a score on the board, but the spinners were magnificent.

Bet on Lancashire every year since about 2013/2014 to win T20 at the start of the tournament, still in profit on that bet from the 2015 win.

However I didn’t do it this year 😭.

But great win today 🌹

Well done Lancs and well bowled!

I still think their batting looks brittle but unfortunately there won`t be any play on Saturday if the forecast is right.

Similar game going on at Trent Bridge - Leics get 139 which you’d think Notts would knock off at a canter. Top 4 out and still 71 behind !!

Poor Lilley - seems a great bloke who took some breathtaking catches for Lancs and played a key role when we won the T20 in 2015 has just made an awful mis field which meant Notts won. Really feel for him.

Went to finals day last year, the best sporting event possible (apart from Blackpool in a cup final), was gutted when we lost in the quarter final. Had tickets for this years final day and we all know I won’t be going to that! Tickets have been honoured for next years finals day so fingers crossed I will get to see Lancs in the finals day next year. If you ever get the chance to go to a T20 finals day, doesn’t matter who is playing you must go it’s an amazing day out for all.

What a fantastic result. Every credit to our bowlers.
3 wickets in one over ((could have been 4).
Lancs did most of it with slow & spin.
Who else would dare to do that?

Should be easy enough to move to a dry day, it's not like there are 30K fans to worry about. Better that than end up having a T6 finals day!

It certainly is . . . I went in 2015 when we won and it was one of the best days sport I've attended. The only down side was that I was the designated driver 😀
