Our Assistant Managers?

We don't have a Manager or Assistant Managers
We have a Head Coach and Assistant Head Coaches

Neil Critchley, Iain Brunskill and Mike Garrity all know each other
through working in the Liverpool youth academy.
They have all worked elsewhere and have varying coaching qualifications,
all of them are well qualified as coaches.

I just wish we had someone with no Liverpool connection, who would see
things differently and be able to stand up and voice a differing opinion.

There you go boys......You can Google their CV's and experience in Football if you're really interested?
But just for fairness,,,,,,Why don't we all let everyone know what we do for a job, just so we get an idea of what we have achieved?

I mean for 90 minutes fans watch a game, but suddenly were a better judge than 4 men who work and train with the players day in and day out, know them personally and can see what their strengths and weaknesses are, and between them, put out a team, every week, to win a football match.

Every football team does exactly the same with varying levels of success, every week
But watching 90 minutes of a game.....and maybe winning the Champions League on FIFA 22, does that make fans better managers????

I never know what people are looking for on this site anymore.....we do well.........Slag off the manager......we do bad.......slag off the manager.
Football is a ** lottery.....and now we have a decent side, who play decent football and crowds are returning..........all you do is complain.

Just for balance re experience in football, excluding Banks, they have 5 League appearances between them. You know the old adage, those that can do, those that can’t teach.

To counter the discussion. Not all ex pros can coach and of those that can, not too many are good man managers. In every working environment there are people who take time to go the extra mile and study hard to better themselves. There are many coaches within football with no pro football experience and are better coaches than their ex pro counterparts.
There are many many assets to being a good coach and being an ex pro or even a good player is not one of them.

I’m an odd chap, not known for following the pack. Seriously Bside the C mentioned their experience, I was just quantifying that experience.
I love that saying...Those that can, do....Those that cant, teach......it's ** football you numpty....
The majority of footballers retire at 30(ish) and a large % of them will move into management or training with football clubs.
How many 45 year olds are playing football....

So, following your train of thought....was Dobby a rubbish footballer, so he had to go into management?

By the way, you haven't got a son called Andy?

Ok bad example . Roy Hodgson ?
Keep going you’ll find one eventually.

I wouldn’t have guessed it was football if you hadn’t informed me. Where did I mention anyone playing at 45? although Sir Stanley played unti he was 50. What the hell has Dobbie, who by the way played over 500 games got to do with anything? And you call me a numpty.

Agreed, but B side the C quoted their experience, I was merely pointing out that with regard to playing they have virtually none.
