I know we all have our favourite ideal starting 11 and bench (when all fit) but I just thought I'd post this to show where we need to strengthen in January and should have done pre season so we could play a modern 4-2-3-1 formation. My unpopular opinion is that Corbeanu is the most creative player we have which is why Appleton hates him. This is not to write off players like Keshi, Garbutt or especially Thorniley.

Four we should thank for their services and move on, Carey, Stewart, Thompson and Williams. No hard decisions dodged.

Grimmy/Maxwell (A matter of opinion only)

Gabriel, Eki, New Signing, Husband
Connolly, New Signing
New Signing, Fiorini, Corbeanu

Grimmy/Maxwell (Still a matter of opinion). Madine, Wright, Bridcutt, CJ, Lavery, New Signing Striker.

So, what have I got wrong?

You’ve missed Thorniley and Charlie, and wouldn’t have either Fiorini or Corbeanu.
