Are higher than PNE! They are on the edge of the playoffs and have a negative goal difference. As do Blackburn who have Ben B-D to score their goals for them,

All this shows is that six 1-0 victories get you a lot more points than one 6-1 victory. Not news to anyone I suspect.

But also it shows how important defence is in this league. League 1 it appeared Quitchley could pair up any combination of centre backs (or full backs playing CB) and they would do us a job.

Most of the play off contenders in this league are not high scoring, they are simply tight at the back and win games taking advantage of other teams mistakes. Not stuff to get the heart racing but effective.

You mean like McCarthy was trying ( albeit unsuccessfully) to do

Good defensive coaching. Appleton didn't bother.

Looks like despite having a far better season than us, they are still boring to watch...

Oh, the joys of being entertained (exhilarated, even) by action-packed football, which sees you very rarely score, whilst conceding goals galore, and managing to secure victory once in a blue moon. Petty local rivalries aside, I can't help but feel some of our followers need to take a bit of a reality check.

We don’t have the players to make it work. Lg1 / Lg2 standard defenders.
Plus, they have one of the best rated keepers in the Championship, which helps with the clean sheets.

Are you a nobber too...

Not sure anyone needs a reality check for having a laugh about a fan sleeping at the game. It’s called a bit of fun.

Because Neil Critchley was extremely knowledgeable, very well organised and the best Manager by a long way, that we have had since Ian Hollowell.
