Wow this is a bit lively, Liz Truss can’t get a word in with Rishi and Sophie Reyworth has lost control!
I would say Lis gets my vote at the momentWow this is a bit lively, Liz Truss can’t get a word in with Rishi and Sophie Reyworth has lost control!
excellent pointCan't see the point of these debates it's not as if we get to vote for one pointless,
3-1! Final score. Utter Bollux!2-1!
Complete opposite to Ant and Dec then BloodI watched Love Island. It was Good and Funny
She keeps harping on in our local paper how the education system wasn't fit for purpose during her schooldays, and that's why she went into politics.Truss mentioning the hardships of the 80's/ 90's whilst conveniently omitting that it was a Conservative government and her local MP was a Conservative in Roundhay.
Sunak's that annoying ** that never lets anyone get a word in when you're out having a beer with your mates
He is Will from the Inbetweeners, close your eyes when he speaks.Rishi (Max Headroom)
Not at all SirComplete opposite to Ant and Dec then Blood
I thought his speech and demeanour was more like Tony Blair. He is Will from the Inbetweeners, close your eyes when he speaks.
He constantly interrupted and talked over a woman so that will score well with the Tory party members.Sunak showed Truss's economic plan for being a fantasy. However, constantly interrupting her was a little too aggressive. The BBC economics editor also showed the plan to be badly thought out with his observations about long term interest rates.
Sunak wins on content but has probably just pissed off a load of people with his hectoring. Truss still to be PM unfortunately, Sunak looks like he has a clue, Truss just makes meaningless sound bites.
Not whist Captain Charisma is in charge.I'd favour Sunak as he has appears to have a coherent idea as to what to do , as opposed to Truss, who will be opening supermarkets as a Thatcher look alike going forward. Labour will be in soon, thank fuck !
We've had 13 years of totally wrong decisions.....deary me.Not whist Captain Charisma is in charge.
Might be honeymoon period for Labour at the mo ( they haven't had a shag for 15 years), but once that is over and they realise Starmer might have to make a decision...........deary me.
Maybe Wiz, but heard the old adage....'frying pan and into the fire'?We've had 13 years of totally wrong decisions.....deary me.
In what way have they delivered on Brexit? Fiasco.Maybe Wiz, but heard the old adage....'frying pan and into the fire'?
Besides, I wouldn't trust Starmer organising a Government, and certainly glad he had nothing to do with the Pandemic.
Im certainly not a Labour supporter, but likewise Im neither a Tory one (although if I had to make a choice, I would lean away from Socialism), but Labour can do a lot better than him or Rayner.
I warm towards Lisa Nandy and Andy Burnham.
Oh and 'totally' is naive. The inoculation program under the Tories stewardship is nothing short of amazing, and as a Brexit supporter they did what it says on the tin for me..out of Europe.
For me as I stated was officially out of Europe...job done. Still plenty that needs sorting, I admit. In what way have they delivered on Brexit? Fiasco.
Because, above all else, they are driven by a personal, power quest. Moreover, in the case of Truss, she'll dismiss anyone and anything in order to promote herself. The most worrying thing about last night's shambles is that both thought Boris was great (10/10 from Rishi). These two are inextricably linked to the mess the country is in, yet neither take any responsibility for it and think they have the solution (albeit diametrically opposed). Why on earth did they not think to mention it over the last 3 years in Cabinet?
Either way, we're goosed.
Lisa and Andy are from my area. Must say I like Andy Burnham a lot. Done a few really good things. Seems a people's person. But one thing, His first area has gone to a no go zone, Leigh East. Made me and others go off him a touch.Maybe Wiz, but heard the old adage....'frying pan and into the fire'?

I’ve posted quite a few times that if Andy Burnham or David Miiliband come back as MPs then the Tories are well and truly stuffed at the next GE.Lisa and Andy are from my area. Andy Burnham definitely, they really need to drop Starmer.I’ve posted quite a few times that if Andy Burnham or David Miiliband come back as MPs then the Tories are well and truly stuffed at the next GE.
