Our Scoreboard

Noticed Exeter's had live pictures of the game coming from it amongst other entertainment whilst ours is basically dead apart from giving out the score.
Surely Exeter aren't operating on a bigger budget than ourselves?, I remember Tam saying it was state of the art when first purchased, are we penny pinching?.

Our content is fine, just need the line up announced ( matchday mascots etc ) , then display the score and scorers.

As for ours being state of the art I very much doubt it. My only gripe is we sit in the family stand directly underneath it and from where we sit quite close up its VERY pixelated.

At least you can see it….from where I sit in the back of the South I can just about see the minutes played 😂😂

Especially in the early part of the season when you are trying to work out who everyone is, it does frustrate me the teams don't stay up.

It would be nice if the scoreboard actually told us the half-time scores from around the country. I know most of us have mobile phones but the service can be very intermittent inside the stadium. It's quite ironic that for decades those attending Bloomfield Raod could find out the half-time scores, but in our modern age of technology many of us can't.

Isn't the screen sponsored by Adi .TV who I assume also do the digital sponsor board round the pitch
They do.
The screen is fine. Gez’s team at ADI build the units they import in from China (it’s like Sticklebricks)

It’s basically a massive PC monitor so you can display whatever you want on it via the PC feed and the software ADI provide.

We must be the only club that doesn't screen Half-Time scores or give the latest scores as we are leaving the stadium.

The wi-fi is virtually non-existent, so the other scores would be appreciated.

And I don't mean just our divisions scores.

It looks refreshed this year, has it received some TLC during the summer break? At the end of last season there were quite a few random blocks of fixed colour as if some of the 'modules' had thrown a wobbler.

Having said that, I noticed on Saturday that there was at least one central square not working, slap bang in the middle, properly set off my OCD.

Call Radio Rentals.

What a time to be alive, when the scoreboard quality is being critiqued eh? 😆👍

I believe some of module panels were swapped out?

It was a spare from an order placed by Heathrow airport and top spec in 2019
It’s just that the content is uninspired
In addition they do need regular maintenance

Hang on...an order placed by Heathrow you say...well erm, does that explain why all the flight times listed in terminal 4 last week were showing "0-0"?
