'out for nout' culture

Looking at the twitter and Facebook comments and jesus, I can't stand fcuking whingers. 15 quid is fine and if you don't think so don't bloody go. Most of the moaners on there wouldn't even go if it was free but they'd moan that the club weren't generating enough money from a ' big' fixture. Never bloody happy some people so fcuk em.

Sorry all. It was a lazy wind up on my part. I was happy to pay the £20 for the FA Cup tie. I was never going to the BSM game, whatever the cost.

Definitely seen a fair bit of grumbling on twitter, I saw the grumbles before the price and assumed we were charging 25 to 30. Was shocked when I saw it was only £15. As others have pointed out, extra policing costs considered, it's as fair a price as you'll get for a big game like this.

Makes me laugh because people on twitter make out as if AVFTT is a cesspit of negativity. I think AVFTT has all aspects of discussion regarding BFC - from blindly positive to outright negativity, I see loads more negativity and vitriol on twitter on average.
 
Slightly off the thread but certainly part of the owt fer nowt culture. On the bus home last night there was a young bloke on his phone playing hell because he had only had five pints which left him with £5 for the rest of the month He was looking forward to his cold weather payment so he could go out again. I'm a pensioner who has worked all his life and still pays tax to support clowns like him. Makes me sick.

Meaning it makes me sick also because my husband is a pensioner whis worked all his life and still pays a fortune In Tax every month from his pensions whilst other people are getting free money thrown at them. Some will 100% need the help but others not so much
 
£15 for a quarter final cup game is about right and more understandable if 2K notlob turn up. I’ll be shocked if they bring so many myself but it’s a fair price IMO.

They took 2k to Accy in the last round They’d bring 4k easily if we offered them the chance

That’s because we have created a culture of scrounging and many take full advantage. These people are rarely challenged or sanctioned, they just get left to collect free money but treat it as a wage. The undeserving frauds need sifting out and made to work for it.

They probs will then mate. I couldn’t rem’ the 2K to acct but I do now you mention it. So assume they do and the club will be aware of it, then we’ve done the right thing to bring a few quid in. I imagine some will whinge like fuck and maybe suggest the club are punishing? home fans. But nobody is being overcharged at £15 and a chance of a winnable semi-final place. Imo.
