Owen Dale to miss Saturday

Happens all the time a 'Gentleman's' agreement between clubs.
If the game was played in April no one would care but a few weeks after transfer fair enough.
 
In other news. DALE TO MISS BARN DOOR.

That Pompey striker who said something along the lines of Owen is a good player and if he learns to put a cross in and find a man he'll be really good. He played with him.
 
NC's comment appears to show that he wasn't aware of the 'agreement' that Owen wouldn't play (or he forgot!).
Owen will be invaluable to Oxfords preparation & during the game, as he has full knowledge of our planning, setup, tactics use of subs etc.
This game aside, good luck to him & Jess for the future.

I suppose the other side to this is that Oxford/Blackpool highly unlikely to finish 4th and 5th and at the same time probably unlikely to meet in a final and so I suppose any agreement about the Play Offs would be thrown out?
 
Looking at the Oxford forum they are not happy they agreed to not play him.
I’m assuming they have never seen him play because he’s crap anyway and if not for superstition he isn’t a player we would exactly be worried about.
