Happy to see this.
I've seen enough to convince me he's a good 'un.
In the short time he was on last night he looked lively with some nice passes and a determination to take on the opposition.

Good news. He shoots from the edge/just outside the box as well, as he proved when he started the comeback against Reading.

I’ve not seen enough of him, but admit his debut was impressive. I’ll trust what Critch thinks.

He needs to learn not to fall over so easily, that won't work. Hopefully he'll find his feet though.

Struggled to deal with the physicality last night I thought, but it was a tough game to come in to.

He doesn't look to have the skill and ability to run with the ball as Bowler, but to me based on the little we've seen, he does look like he has an end product. A fierce shot on him and can put a good cross in too, both of which we have struggled with even last season at times. He offers us something different to our other wide players I think.

If the price tag is as reported 7 figures, I have to say surprised Critch has kept him so wrapped in cotton wool. But as others have said trust his judgement of a young player.

7 figures?
I hope not, I thought at the time of the loan arrangement that the agreed fee was £500k ?

My thoughts too. Debut was very impressive but he’s struggled in his cameos since.
I thought he’d come on the right last night to replace Bowler but forgot about CJ.
I’d still try him there on Saturday or swap Keshi across. Let’s see how he gets on

I think in a few years he'll be shit hot, as will Carey and Bowler.

I thought we offered something different with Dale and CJ on vs West Brom and would give them two a shot from the start at some point with either Keshi or Carey as CAM and Lavery as the striker.

I think that would have us all purrrrrrring when the opposition permits.

I think we need power and defensive organisation at the start of games - Tuesday was a classic case in point. Not sure this is Dale or Bowler's forte yet but both should be important squad members this season. No doubt Critch and co will assess and adjust as necessary.

Still think we’re desperate come January for another ‘big’ central defender/midfielder.

We’ve been turned over a few times by big physical sides we got away with it on Tuesday night.
