With over half the season gone, these are the teams to beat and pray they do worse than us in the run in. Basically we need to leapfrog 2 of these. Portsmouth/Peterborough/Bolton/Derby will probably be the top 4 and are probably too far ahead to worry about and I can’t see anyone below us being in a position to mount a challenge.
It’s going to be tough and it’s going to be tight but I can see any of the 3 going on a bad run. Hopefully our worst is behind us and we are up for the fight. Going to be exciting, strap in. UTP

NIP AND TUCK for the rest of 23/24. our last home game is against Barnsley and a long trip to Reading.. I think there maybe something on that game. If it was a one game shootout to grab the last play off spot. That would something. A roses derby and promotion possibly. I definitely will be there.

Barnsley are in trouble for breaching EFL regulations and could face a points deduction before the end of the season

None of them are dropping points. We can’t win away.

Critchley clearly concentrating on the Bristol Motors Trophy

The MOST important (money spinnng) game we need to win is Forest at Home

Nothing else matters

Win that and we can buy 2 good players and still take the players away for a pre 5th round break - Grange over Sands perhaps

Tin pot

Why worry, we are not good enough this season, the team lacks balls hence why we cannot win away at all these big teams we are playing with amazing atmospheres and big crowds. Will continue to watch of course but even when we win it's punishing to watch the most uninspiring Blackpool team I've seen in my 45 years of watching the Pool.

Tend to agree, it’s a physical league. I posted on another thread that watching Burton in the cup the other week I can see how we struggle away from home against teams like them. Hard buggers and committed, no place to go for the faint hearted. I think we need to play with big Marv and Caseyvat centre back away from home, 4-4-2 and battle like fuck. Then we might have a chance.
