Be Honest....If you cant say who you played, you're either embarrassed by who it was or you know it didn't really mean anything.

Knowing PNE they probably just turned up to Sleepdale and just took penalties.......and only managed 5 in 90 minutes...... 😳

Seems their fans are in meltdown.

Could it be that the club aren't putting anything out simply because a full strength PNE side got walloped by a lower league team or by an U23 team. It's mushroom time again - fans kept in the dark and fed on shit. Come on Peter - time to come clean and tell the paying fans just what to expect for their money - if anything.

If it was against a team who was so bad that they were too embarrassed to mention then I would say yes most definitely- weird weird club, I’ve never heard of any team ever to play a mock friendly against a team that probably doesn’t even exist to then announce hurrah we won 5-0, why not just say 8-0 to give the fans even more false hope of avoiding relegation
Anyway it probably did happen but the other team asked for anonymity to avoid the ridicule of playing them in the first place, I’ve got a vision now of an Asian bloke on new hall lane engraving a plastic trophy for them to put in the trophy cabinet, then another vision of a polish bloke knocking up a chipboard trophy cabinet for them to put the plastic cup in
