Are any of the Olympics naysayers watching this? Some great events. Just watched us lose narrowly to the Americans in the wheelchair rugby.

The goalball for blind athletes was another great sport.

There are so many great back stories as well.

I haven't watched, but seems like a sport like that you cant recreate the true feel as much in a wheelchair.

All credit to them, but how do they scrum and tackle?

Drive into each other at pace. Many stoppages for punctures and buckled wheels

It's the back stories that make it eminently watchable.

Just watching some of the wheelchair rugby UK v Japan amazingly tactical skilful and fast. Mention of one lad losing legs at aged 15 to sepsis to recover mentally from that at that age in itself is just awe inspiring

Some great events and performances.
Being a cynic about certain things, I see that China has over 200 medals.
As a country not to be trusted under the Communist regime, Makes me think that there have been a few/a lot of cheating going on.
I know it has a huge population, but it is also led by a very minority government, who will do anything tp get recognition.
Political rant over. 😉
