No restrictions at all….just don’t drive in with BFC scarves out of the window and BFC Bob hats and singing Seasiders out of the window…

They have people telling you to go and park in the Bolton Wanderers pay car park as you are here for the game..

I know, I wasn't being serious, but even if you did as you say you shouldn't I don't think they could stop you, if say you were going into Asda for a bit of lunch.
I have parked in the car park by the exit outside the away end and got away in no time, back in FY8 at 5.40.

Park on the Tesco Superstore car park just up the road and leave a Tesco bag on the back seat. They are supposed to give you 2 hours minimum.
But they probably have CCTV to watch you walk directly from your car to the stadium. So divert via the store to buy a packet of crisps!

Defo DO NOT park on Tesco. They have ANPR on the car park and a 90 minute limit on match days.
Assume if you were genuinely in there longer on match day you would have a receipt 4 miles long to prove it.

OK, I stand corrected. I have done so in the past without problem, but it was a few years ago.

If when you pull off the M61 and the ground is left at the roundabout; instead, turn right and head away from the ground no more than 50 meters, there is loads of parking there on a big country lane.
15 minute walk to the ground, but you are 1 minute drive back to the M61.
You'll be in the pubs before 6 at home.

At weekend there aren’t any parking restrictions on the retail car park but its a PIA to get off after the match. Tesco now charge £5 but have limited spaces.
The away car park behind the stand is £8 but we’ll worth it as it’s a lot easier to get off. Your first visit used to be free but please check. If you have to pay then it’s easier to download the app and pay that way instead of queueing to feed coins into a ticket machine.
