Must say the “Paddy-Behaviour” from my fellow “mature friends” (that I am older) when we lost the lists of games in the Championship… a division we hit up to too early and they DID/DO STILL behave like “spoilt kids” despite being nearly 60 “amazes” me.

I really wonder if football has changed so much that after the “War” my “PASSION” for the love of OUR Blackpool FC is on the brink of being “destroyed”

Still”Hanging On”

Hi Ash
It just feels like deja vu to me at the moment all those years of going to crappy grounds like Chesterfield and the old Walsall ground for example and playing teams with little or no history, a small amount of fans, shoestring budgets and losing time and time again over 30 depressing years of lower league football.

Blackpool letting you down time and time again. Christmas is coming and I already have the dread of how we are going to do.

The investment, the ambition just feels like it always has at the moment (except for Valeri saying I'm going to get you in the PL in 5 years its always been disappointing)

I keep going but I often question my sanity and dream of something bigger, better...😕

Spoilt kids or wanting better for our club? It’s a shit division mate and our owner has spent a fortune on a squad that is more than capable of getting us out of it. Unfortunately there’s one person standing in the way of success with his stubborn attitude and a desire to persist with a 3-5-2 formation that obviously doesn’t work 😡😡

What time did you go out , today?

I think the problem is Ash we were lucky to get into the Championship but we did. We took our chance and a promising squad was strengthened and there was some fight and class in it

Then, in a season of played in Championship comfort. Derby (last home game) and then Peterboro took the mick and something was clearly wrong behind the scenes. London Rd was the scene of the biblical betrayal.

To be reinstated as Managerwithin 12 months is truly astonishing but the way as a Club we imploded last season was so disappointing - no fight, hopeless Manager (another Judas!) and a full side injured or ‘in hiding’ all the season - I honestly think quite a few of Appleton’s signings knew very quickly they were on the Titanic and we’re happy to scuttle the ship

You have to dig in, you give nothing and you do your job. I don’t think many fans (feel free to shoot me down) have any idea what a total surrender last season was and far, far too many are appear happy where we are but the under achievement is deafening. We have to find a way of collectively as a CLUB to do better

Had we stayed up (we would, had we beaten Cardiff) I don’t think we’d be in the bottom 3 now, but hey we took the easy option and we play and lose time and again at Clubs way below what our true pedigree is.

I find results v N’ton & yesterday hard to understand, let alone stomach, after Portsmouth (who have won every match since I think !) Good sides bounce back, lazy teams don’t take their advantages. But hey what would I know, but it’s very frustrating and we’re just laughing at ourselves as per normal.

We really need to sniff the coffee though. We’re becoming a minor team in a very minor Division - we need to knuckle down, stop moaning and really demand on the terraces something better than yesterday - yep it’s a test of your faith and how deep y it is

More rides on Tuesday v FGR and justice than you might think, and you know when you’re support is waning when you don’t even bother to watch the highlights !

Best wishes
Cambers

Well said @LeeCharlesTV - last season was a massive kick in the cahoonas and am sorry to Cambridge and their fans but Preston's 5-1 defeat to Watford looked almost credible compared to this defeat.

Yes, every Preston fan I've spoken to are delighted they lost 5 1 at home rather than 2 1 away at Cambridge. Very credible result...

If we were in the top half of the Championship we would expect the occasional day when things went completely wrong. Home or away.

Things can go wrong in League 1 - any team can lose a game - but any defeat to a team in the bottom half is a small nail in the coffin of featuring in the play offs. So when it keeps happening people get pissed off.

And it’s becoming obvious that to get to the play offs you will need at least 78 and maybe 80 points. Currently if we won every home league game and drew every away game we would get 79………

On the Nobbers It doesn’t matter one iota how they are doing unless either they are threatening promotion to the EPL or in the same league as us.

On that basis they don't matter one iota at the moment.

The wider issue is that the gap between the top two divisions and the rest is growing by the minute. We did so well to escape this division then we threw it all away. Fans want to see a concerted effort to put that right. We have the heritage and set up to at least be a mid table championship side, not contemplating a future that looks like our present.

Not so much the 3-5-2 formation that frustrates me, it has worked on occasion this season.
What really frustrates me is the failure to adapt quickly,to a tactical change from the opposition....or to try and turn the tide of a game in our favour (Saturday)...or to play to the players ..available ..strengths.

We do but not seemingly the application or appetite

Tomorrow night needs a big statement from the players (less so the Manager, who rightly or wrongly gets blamed for everything.)

The crowd needs to demand more too - I just hope there’s a good reaction tomorrow to a ridiculous performance on Sat

What's the obsession with quotation marks? Makes you "sound" like an "arsehole".

Can’t disagree mate, he just doesn’t cut it as a manager for me

The passion most show on here is born out of frustration that a manager hasn't the nouse to make tactical changes during a game.
Bit like you going from bold to italics being a superior poster.

People need to get a pair of bollocks and stop feeling so bloody entitled. Sunderland took 4 years to escape this league .. because it’s difficult. The formation isn’t to blame because the formation until Saturday has been ( generally) doing us absolutely fine …

3.0 Stevenage
4.0 Shrewsbury
4.0 Portsmouth
3.0 Carlisle

It wasn’t the formation that dropped points v Charlton and Fleetwood either, it’s the lack of bottle of one or two of our players frankly.

On Saturday Norburn for instance showed yet again what an utter disappointment he’s been since signing. Careless with the ball, completely anonymous and a big sulk when it isn’t going his way.
Is the manager blameless ?? No obviously not, he probably does need to make changes quicker and he’s put too much faith in certain players, but regardless, his players have cost us and him 8 points this season by not doing their jobs properly.
