Pathetic West Brom fans

Thought that was a great contest and we more than earned our point.

Then before the final whistle they chant ‘sack the board’ and boo their team off. Can also hear them giving their players abuse at the end.

Unbelievable what a few years in the prem does to some supporters. You can just tell they thought they’d come here and walk all over us tonight.

Embarrassing

Makes you wonder if they have any idea what’s going on outside their own football bubble

Well I don’t know what’s going on at WBA, but……if a few more had sung “Sack The Board” at our club year after relegation from the Premiership then we could of got rid of “those awful owners”sooner🙄🙄

Don't remember the oystons spending millions on players like West brom do so not much of a point you are making.

It is funny how perceptions differ Pool fans generally very happy and really pleased to have Critch. Nob End fans whinging and moaning desperate to get rid of Ridsdale and McAvoy but only 3 points behind Pool and West Brom 3rd booing their team off and wanting the board sacked. Overall a pretty average division.

From the South the WBA fans were probably the noisiest set I’ve heard this season and thought they gave great support to their team, bit taken aback at 0-0 with 5 mins of normal time left that some of their fans started to leave - which always makes me think they have settled on the result, they know their team better than I do - but I could just see them going over the heads of the Blackpool fans streaming out. What is with people these days? Game on a knife edge yet off they go.

Never got it, never will, how anybody can turn their back on such a pulsating game and shuffle off down an exit with 5mins to go is beyond me.

Really? I thought they were quiet considering the numbers. There was only a small section singing, granted they kept it going throughout, but the rest of the away fans only occasionally joined in.

Guess it depends where you sit in relation to the away fans or maybe its the first time I’ve remembered to wear my hearing aids to the game and they sounded louder than they really were!

I honestly thought they were the loudest this season.

I was pretty close Block W and they were quite loud in short spells. Definitely not the best this season, but they were pretty good I thought..

Surprised they didn’t sell out though

Thought they did sell out…… there didn’t seem to be many empty seats??

I also thought their support sounded good on TTV. You can usually hear away fans louder on there anyway because they’re next to radio commentary but still thought they made a good showing of themselves.

Just a shame they all decided to spit their dummy out at the end and embarrass themselves.

They are normally a good set of supporters and quite loud.
Agree with the O/P. The “sack the board” nonsense was embarrassing. 3rd in league. Their team were fully committed tonight. Never stopped trying. Loads of chances created (more than any other team in Championship tonight). Yet they see fit to moan about the board and boo the players. Clearly had this match as a 3pt banker.

You have to be in the ground to sing.

TBF I walked out down Bloomfield Rd with some Albion fans and they were complimentary.

Weren't overstruck on their own performance mind.

The early leavers last night were a disgrace.

I was talking to a couple of WBA fans on the way back to the car (it is possible to talk to opposition fans walking down the same street after a game but I guess that’s for other threads) and asked about the sack the board chants. They told me they are owned by some Chinese guy who has sold players and replaced them with freebies, ignored the recommendation of the board to appoint Chris Wilder in the summer to bring in the guy from Barnsley they have now as well as, and I think we can all relate, taking ‘loans’ out from the club.

I’ll admit I don’t know the full story and only heard 2 fans side of it for a couple of minutes but it does seem to be some genuine discontent. It’s easy to say ‘they are 3rd in the league what have they got to complain about’ but we appreciated the fans of clubs who were behind our struggle.

Just makes me glad we now have the owner we do.
