Patino & Jerry Yates

We'd have both of them back in a heartbeat and it's ridiculous to suggest otherwise.

We wouldn't get either of them anyway, they will be able to secure clubs at a higher level. The only outside chance would be Jerry on loan and if that was an option we would snap their hands off.

We’ve got no chance of getting either especially Yates he was out the door as soon as critchley came through it
As long as the line of similarly disenchantered departees form an orderly queue at the door, I suppose we as fans will just have to accept this rather frustrating state of affairs ...

I honestly don’t think any club at championship level will be looking at a deal for Yates loan or otherwise. They have made him look truly awful

Really surprised some think Yates will come back here.he’d prefer a Huddersfield or a Birmingham over us.no loyalty in football these days.
Despite the relegation suffered by both these teams yesterday, they are still doubtless in a position to be able to offer, to such as Yates, a much more rewarding contract than our position and cirumstances would allow. We just have to face facts, I'm afraid. As you say, loyalty doesn't even feature in the equation in the current climate ...

Time will tell but he’s still featured for Swansea and has scored a few goals so he’s still a championship player for me. He’s obviously been a big disappointment from a Swansea perspective having arrived for a big fee.

I could see him at an another bottom half championship side or perhaps a newly promoted team and he’d be a squad player. If he does drop a league then surely we’re in with a chance and it would be a no brainer from our perspective.

I’m not sure what kind of wages Jerry was on and It usually works out the opposite way but from what I was told he was offered an increase in wages (no extension to contract) when we was relegated to stay on this season but he wanted out.i believe the club did try and keep him for this season at least.

I’d have them both back for sure. If I could pick one of them it would be Jerry by a mile and so what if he’s played for us before. I doubt we will bring a better striker in.

When people are not interested in the club getting a player like patino back (not that we even have a chance) … I think some need a reality check. We are in division one!!! Very lucky if we get such a player.

I think the reason fans mention bringing players back is because it's something we have a history of doing.

Yates would be a no brainer and on loan I reckon it would be possible. I guess it depends on interest from other clubs.

Yates has an affinity to us and I am sure he would jump at the opportunity to come back so may put us in the driving seat. He wouldn't take a drop in wage if on loan and its a chance to get his career back on track.

You get the feeling Swansea would be happy to offload him as he doesn't suit their style and it simply does not seem to have worked out.

Getting Yates back on loan would be an unbelievable coup, but logistically can't see it happening as his wages are likely 3 times higher than what we are paying. Swansea would want his wages covered in full and probably a hefty loan fee.
