I really want Critchley to turn it round and do well but if he can't would Paul Cook from Wigan be a good choice, i think he would be.
 
"Desperate to get back into football" was Paul Cook's comment back in August. He has been there done it both as a player and a manager. Maybe he is the missing part of the jigsaw. Critchley to Head of Coaching with Cook as First Team Manager. At the end of the day everyone wants what is best for the football club. Players at this level not only need coaching but man-managing.

Would love Cook if worst comes to worst, but can't see it at all being a good situation for Critchley to stay on if Cook is hired.

Yes, it would be a difficult situation for Critchley but I think he has a lot to offer the football club from a coaching/technical/academy viewpoint. All depends on how Mansford and Simon Sadler see things.
