Paul McCartney song about Blackpool “Blackpool, that’s the place for me”

Discovered this fairly recently myself but Paul McCartney wrote a song about Blackpool based on his days visiting Blackpool when he was a kid. The song was never officially recorded or released but you’ve got to love it.

Read his biography during the first lockdown, Magical Mystery Tour was loosely inspired by trips to Blackpool as it was based around the "mystery coach tours" that people used to get from Liverpool in the 50s/60s, it was meant to be a surprise where you ended up but it would always be Blackpool!
