Paul Mullin's boots

The Wrexham striker's been inundated with requests to buy boots with his original slogan " F*** the Tories"

His supplier's now working 24 hours a day to satisfy demand.

Sadly Wrexham have instructed him not to wear these again, although they've acknowledged that "Bollox to Boris" is acceptable.

It'll be something to do with political slogans staying out of football - which is at least consistent - we can't be picking and choosing which is are acceptable.

Given the last 8 weeks is he the only person to think the Tories have f*cked the economy? I appreciate TTJ will possibly be ranting at the wall regards the demise of Mogg and the Eternal liar.

He must be a right ** to put that or any other political or religious comment on his boots....

A bit of a look at me moment from a nobody.
Why? I think it's a great slogan! And it's hardly original! Loads of people, famous or not, say all sorts of negative stuff about the tories. Anyone who still likes the tories after this government is an absolute fuckwit, and they can't be saved.

Fuck the tories.

Hard.

Right into the bin.

And then fuck that bin right off a cliff.

What an absolutely ridiculous post. Only one person round here who sounds like a fuck wit to me.

Well I'm not really all that political so I look at it from a neutral point of view.....
Firstly, he's making a political point against the Tories, presumably claiming to be a downtrodden blue collar etc worker, when in fact he's led a charmed life as a professional footballer no doubt earning far and above that of say a plumber, dinner lady or policeman/woman......or an MP for that matter. So for me he is a hypocrite.

Then you look at the labour party and ask yourself could they run a country......I honestly would rather not...... especially that gobshite Angela Raynor.......and she would be in a top job....
Right at this moment Sunak and his idiots are a better option than Starmer and his idiots.....

Football boots are not the place for political slogans... especially from hypocrites.

Wrexham fans have been singing that song ever since a Conservative won one of the Wrexham council seats

He probably only did it for some cringe fan love in

Mullen he's a bit of a tit and politics should have no place in football, he's on 500k a year and is the highest paid player in the league by a mile

Can't wait for Labour to get in and tax him more

Tory voter: " You can't say anything anymore without the wokerati getting upset"

Also Tory voter: "He shouldn't be allowed to say this, it's hypocritical and inappropriate."

Not sure what his salary has to do with anything. You can earn good money and still dislike the tories.

Some people are happy to pay their way, sounds like a decent bloke to me.

Can’t have that on your boots though.

Some people just can't help themselves can they?

If it's a football post you never see or hear from them, but if it has anything to do with politics they're straight there, even when it's on the football section it is suddenly turned into a hate campaign.

He's doing it because of the chant that the fans have been singing for the last season or so that's my point

All about fan love 💘
