Peaky Blinders.

Last series has been a disappointment. I suspect Covid is why so few actors are involved. Mumbled soliloquies in mist filled scenes with too many flashbacks. Maybe everything will come together in the final episode which will be how I fooled the bad Mosley and saved Curchill's England.

Brilliant series, bearing in mind there had to be a lot of rewriting due to the sad loss of 'Polly'.
It had to digress a bit from the usual vendettas and violence as the last series was concentrating on the supposed decline of the Shelby's and especially Tommy. The Finale was a truly excellent way of tying up the previous episodes and in some cases series.

For me very intellectual and thought provoking.

Just sad there were no Grace 'flash backs' and what happened to the Police and the Billy Boys?

Looking forward to the film and I'm sure its been set up for a spin-off series.

To start the series with Tommy on a Black horse and to end with him on a White one was brilliant.

For me the best TV ive ever watched along with GOT and Breaking Bad.

I have been watching since the very beginning and in the first 4 episodes thought it was good that it was coming to an end. The last two episodes left me wanting more.

Enjoyed it.
Some of episodes 5 & 6 filmed around my gym in Castlefield, Manchester.
If your gym is where I think it is I believe you may know a Jim Platt who goes there and even takes sessions.
He is a long time friend of ours especially the wife who worked with him for many years.
He has mentioned that there is a Seasider in their ranks so it could be you😉.
We hope to see him and another friend Alison ,another former colleague of the other half, for lunch soon…..Jim is possibly the fastest eater in the country😁 and a gem of a person.

As for Peaky Blinders, have never watched a single episode so can’t comment….these dramas or almost any drama have no appeal for me.

I do indeed know Jim and have done for many a long year. I'm sure I'm the Seasider he refers to. John Robb is the only other Seasider at the gym that I know of. I'll be seeing Jim later in the week so will mention your post and get the dirt on you. 😉

I bet that will be Thursday…..the one day he says he can’t do lunch😉.Perhaps you can
tell him Viv hasn’t forgotten about arranging lunch( just slow as usual when it comes to this sort of thing) but we’re thinking about the Thai Street food place( Thai Kitchen no.6) opposite Sam’s chop house😁 and definitely not the Cozy Club or The Old Wellington.
“ Jimbo” bless him will eat anything so long as it isn’t slow service…..he”ll know what I mean.
