Peter Faulding no longer deemed an "expert"

He's an expert but it depends on where he was asked to search and when the body entered the water. there's a load of variavbles we just don't know.

But she was. She may have been washed up and down the river a few times.

The point is he raised false hopes with his assertions. The police obviously think that he's not a person to be trusted in a sensitive search.

As GTF said, there's a possible book somewhere in the future.

Is that the same police that were up and down the river for three weeks ?
 
What really pissed me off about him were his press briefings. Clearly a massive self publicist, why didn't he report back to the police and keep silent? No better than the rubber kneckers

I think that’s probably more the reason they’ve sacked him off. He handled himself badly and police forces won’t want that kind of distraction in any investigation

waste of time then it was obvious that if she was in the river as she was it would be in reeds or tree roots etc he was so full of himself on tv with comments such as she wouldnt travel that far.
we who live on the coast by the river know that it usually ends up coming out to sea
