Just over 52 years ago (on 13th April 1970) since our fantastic fearless Fred fired in 3 to send us up to Division 1 and, in reality, condemn them to Division 3.
34,000 at Deepdale that glorious evening, some reports say 20,000 'Pool fans were there - but, as a young lad back then and not prone to exaggeration, I reckon our Tangerine Army was about 30,000 strong and Magnificently Mighty.
The Nobenders don't like crowds, never have and never will.

Now I went to Blackpool Grammar School back in the day and I learnt all about algebra and logarithyms before I witnessed Fred's magnificent threesome all those years back
And I make last night's attendance as being 3,511 less than when we were down t'road just recently when only a couple o' thousand of us were allowed in
And t'Rovers must have taken close to 4,000?
How the fuck can any Lilyshiter explain that crowd conundrum to me, without me piffin' misel?
