There has been a gym open in Fleetwood since this all began. I've seen reports of quite a few pubs in East Lancs being open.

If police have the intelligence to confirm a pub is open then they have the powers to get the licence revoked. And saying so. If not, then they shouldn’t be saying it.

I'd say more guidance than intelligence.

How far to go etc. If it was me, I'd close the place down, fine the landlord £25k and ban them from ever owning or managing licenced premises for 10 years. Customers fined £2k.

Name the Landlord of the pub and name they Gym owner - do it properly. They’re either guilty (name them) or they’re not breaking any rules (don’t name them).

The fact that the Police have exaggerated the stuff about pubs etc.. makes you wonder whether they’ve exaggerated the whole story..
