Yes. It’s suddenly got worse. Ads are bigger as well when they pop up. Like some random weird script change gone wrong

Aside from the fixed ads which are at the top and bottom of the screen which are deliberately non intrusive, we do also have an ad which will only appear once during December when you first log in which is easy enough to close. December provides the biggest opportunity for ad revenue and to be honest gets us through the year.

The site is independent and actually takes hundreds of pounds to run. Without these ads effectively there is no site. Whilst we know there are ad blockers out there, all they do is reduce page impressions and therefore we get no revenue!

So for the slight inconvenience of clicking an ad to close it, we hope you appreciate why we have them and why we hope you’ll continue to support us.
