Plymouth’s social media kicks our ass!

The way i look at this is they clearly see this as a big and important signing, and he's someone who NC will have taken a look at and decided he isn't good enough or doesn't suit our style of play.

All it does is excite me about the quality of our squad.

When was the last time we was the club loaning a player to a lesser team in the same division who they view as a big signing? It was usually us getting the cast offs from other clubs in our division.. or lower!

To be fair to Plymouth, they made a very well put together documentary series called Inside: Argyle. It’s four parts and follows the first team from last season.

It’s free to watch on YouTube and will interest most football fans.

Before they get carried away they should recall there record against us in recent games has at best been poor. Although to be fair a lot of people on this site are getting carried away because we signed Yates someone who scored a few goals last season and got promoted from league 2🤔now who else did that last season albeit with a better record of goals for time on the pitch 🧐

The same argument could be said for us losing Gnando if we then went out and signed Tyler Walker. I think most would be happy with that signing. They're both players who scored the same amount of goals in mid table teams.

Yates has been identified by our manager and scouting team as someone they want.
Hardie clearly isn't required.
That's good enough for me.

Sometimes it is more than just ability as to why players fits in a system.

I take it as a compliment that a player that is our 2-time cast off and (lest we forget) still on our books is creating such talk among another well supported club in our division.

Don’t see it as a problem, good luck to them, hope he does well. If our club did the same for signing KDH on loan I’m sure some of you would be creaming yourselves

They clearly have a media person who is decent at editing and camerawork and they are putting that to use. Most modern thinking companies are doing these sorts of things through their media outlets. Not sure what the problem is.

As far as our social media goes I think ours did a great job over lockdown. I dont really do twitter but I checked in through the early lockdown and there was things being uploaded every day. The Fifa tournament streams, the print off colouring things the club were doing for the kids. Its just about keeping communication with your customers regularly especially during that time and I think BFC did that well.

It's a loan signing Tam embarrassing.
It's far from my thing Pool, but it's the way things are now.

If it engages the youngsters and sells a few more season tickets then it's job done, but I'm approaching 50 so it doesn't really do much for me.

If you do want to see embarrassing on twitter, have a look anytime Charlie Adam tweets or retweets. As sure as night follows day you will see a raft of Blackpool fanboys begging him to sign up. And these aren't kids either! It's like teenage girls with the beatles in 60s.

There is actually a coach that goes to Old Trafford from Plymouth 🤬 . I work in Blackpool & am surrounded by Man Utd & Liverpool fans, not a Manc/Scouse accent between them. I ask them why they don't support their local team & get incredulous looks. I know it's a free world & all that but I've got no time for them when they talk footy & say 'we won at the weekend' etc etc & they've never even set foot in the grounds but just keep renewing their Sky subscription.
