It’s just obvious. Why the fuck do people want 5 defenders on the pitch getting in each others way.

You may be right, but we're 30 minutes into a preseason friendly with a pretty experimental line up and you're predicting a defeat in our first league game.

Totally agree seems pointless,I prefer to pick a side who are likely to start season in one half and make adjustments as and when needed,these two line ups make little sense to me even if it is only a getting fit exercise

Why on earth would he sack off a system, based on Pre-Season Friendly?

This is about practice and preparation…The result at this stage is largely immaterial…

Yes Id like to see the same. Second half lineup seems more positive though not convinced by formation and I assume CJ as wing back.

4-3-3 always works with the right players. Play wingers and get them defending deep.

Formations need testing pre season and players in different roles. Best way to rule out what won’t work.

Just reading the tweets, sounded like we had way more chances than them and just had an unlucky 2 mins. Still need another striker for me - we’ll not know how individuals played but there is no doubt looking at those two teams that merged we have a decent L1 team.

A knob who was right last season and will be this season. We have a good team but that formation will ruin any chance we have.
