That's the typical view of a completely biased and bitter nobber who will have probably only visited the central area. An area with obvious issues no doubt, also try having 18 million people a year traipsing through Prestons worst areas and see what judgements they make of the place. There's some nicer areas that tourists never go or see, unfortunately being one of the UKs top holiday resorts, you do then attract some dossers looking to leave their shithole with fond memories of their trip as a kid. There's tons do do in the town, some great history, fantastic buildings, fantastic park voted best in the uk, theme park, zoo, piers, some great restaurants etc etc. It has issues yes but it's a unique town with a lot going for it. A lot of regeneration happening too.

Your crowds were similar to ours last season so it's pretty obvious what's happened isn't it.... the really cheap price is responsible for the current increase. Not knocking it but to mention the crowds without the main reason for the increase it is a bit disingenuous. By your own fan accounts I believe some said about 10k were actually attending some games recently. Which given your home form isn't really surprising.

Also your away numbers are decent. I'm sure ours would be a lot higher if we were winning away game after away game like you were at times.
 
Tickets swapped over to the kop today , looking forward to this now, much more than a few weeks ago.

A lot can happen though between now and April 1st.

In my lifetime supporting Blackpool I have seen us in every league, numourous finals, ups and downs and all with one of the worst owners the football league has ever seen.
We may get relegated which isn’t great but supporting one of the most depressing clubs about in Preston must be hard work. The town is dull. The stadium is dull. They just languish in mid table championship. Literally everything about them is dull apart from they get the odd decent home cup draw. That’s literally all they have to get excited about.

Once Mr & Ms Hemmings cuts your money off......I'm going to love watching your whole club crumble under the debt...I wonder how many fans will bother to turn up once your Season Tickets go up and the quality of players drops to League 2
 
I remember well Nobbers coming on here in August 2009 telling us we were about to mix with the big boys, and we were in for a shock.

The only ones getting a shock were the Nobbers crying watching the telly at the end of that season.

We've had more excitement in any season you could care to name compared to the bitter dullards up the road.

A relegation battle is really something to look forwards to but give me Championship football anytime over League One or Two football but given your happy with the variety I'm pleased for you because it looks as if you are getting it.

I’ve watched Blackpool in all four divisions, seen loads of promotions and relegations. Water off a ducks back.

A promotion season is always more enjoyable than a mid table season. I know you’ve not had that many and it’s been a while, but it’s true.

I’m 35, I’ve watched Blackpool in all four divisions. There is absolutely no way I’d swap with Preston over that time, and you’ve been a Championship team for a lot of that.

If mid table in the same division is your thing, fair enough. You had a good few seasons in the late 90s early 00s, a few play off campaigns, other than that it’s been dull for you and you can’t deny that.

Neither club has anything to shout about attendance wise, it’s a pathetic argument from both sides.
