PNE online meltdown

"On the bright side, the Blackpool fans now have to face 35000 crazed Welsh blokes who want to kill them."

The complete opposite. The Cardiff fans were brilliant and very magnanimous in defeat. They were also chatting with Pool fans on the way towards Wembley way.

If I'm truthful I thought we had about a 20% chance of winning that game. So when you expect to lose, but win, it makes winning even better. What a natural high.

I actually felt sorry for the Preston fans.

Edit: deseredly win

I think the funniest thing is that the thread title is a year too early, they couldn't even get that right .... we didn't get promoted until 2010

Not the ones we met after the game, they were pissed up and mouthy. I heard they were a few scuffles in the coach park also.

I had a bad experience after the game. I dropped my phone and went back for it. I got cornered by two Cardiff fans
Fortunately my cousin came back and when it was even numbers they backed down and did one
Had he not come back I could have got a kicking
Other than that the majority of Cardiff fans we met were gracious and magnanimous

"Hate to say this but they played the bloody welsh lot off the park - a very sad day indeed - will we ever get on level terms with them again re the millions that they get."

Sadly, the millions we got were loaned out to the owner's failing connected businesses instead of being invested in the football club and the inevitable followed. Things could have been so different.

Once in a lifetime that really wasn't it as doubt we'll be back up there again unless we get some big investment and even then it'd be great but not quite the same.
