PNE taking revenge

More embarrassing stuff from them... I'm glad they begrudgingly agree that it's our club and we're allowed to allocate any extra capacity to our own fans... So that would be like every other Club (including them when they didn't have the capacity).

How is it reasonable? Well, last week the very north of the East was cordoned off with netting. No throwing occured (well, one pitiful attempt). To me, that means that Preston could have the same as Blackburn. From Preston's point of view, they've been done down. I can see that.
But we never sold out the home ends and had demand to sell more in those games.

Also we behaved vs Blackburn yes, but against PNE the police and co clealry think having away fans in the north is more risky.

If we hadn't have sold out maybe they would be allowed, but we did and therefore priority goes to home fans in that area.

Its also safer than away fans in there, not more dangerous like they keep saying.

I think we should have given them the proper allocation and I see nothing wrong in their statement. I have no doubt they will cut our allocation at Deepdale because a board under pressure normally from their own fans will not want to make things worse.
Just remember that many of you reading this now will miss out on that trip to Deepdale and for what? Anybody who's committed to the club barring a few exceptions would have bought tickets for the home match from the off. This is to accommodate the floaters who I bet were nowhere near for Coventry , Barnsley etc. I'm all for increasing our fan base but not in this circumstance. Some of our committed will eventually miss out on something for the uncommitted.

My thoughts exactly.

Shame these extra fans were welcoming with open arms didn’t bother turning up against Coventry, Cardiff, Barnsley, Huddersfield Fulham.

And especially against Blackburn another big local derby but soon as the Knobbers are in town everyone wants a ticket all of a sudden that’s now ultimately going to cost us the same fate come March.

Football fans eh a fickle bunch. 🙄

They have got the whole allocation. The only reason Barnsley and Blackburn got extra was because of less home demand.

It's a simple equation.

Just because they have reacted like babies isn't our fault.

There will be some fair weather fans but also we won't have got the same 10k each game, theres probably a slightly different 10k each time, for this big game most will all go plus a lot more exiles will all go, who usually might not.

It's a special game.

The circumstances aren't the same for their stadium and they have in the past cut our allocation when their stand was being built so it's a bit hypocritical.

So you do actually advocate prioritising opposition fans over our own, despite your protestations to the contrary....

The pair of you aren't genuine Blackpool Supporters in my book👎

If you bother to read my comments above and on other threads about this issue I’ve advocated giving the Knobbers the 3,100 and putting additional home supporters in the south east corner.

That way no sour grapes and no dummies spat out of the pram everyone happy and the return leg ticket allocation wouldn’t be an issue like it clearly is going to be.

Here to help.👍

Said exactly the same thing. 👍

Amazed some of our fans want us to cater for fans who haven't bothered turning up so far this season and probably won’t bother again after this game, but want them to pack the stands against The Knobbers.

Yes I accept some people have to work on a Saturday but I would sooner see a thousand more Knobbers in the east than some Pool fan who turns up on the 23rd and won’t bother again this season.

Absolutely appalling attitude where you place yourself on some 'uber fan' pedestal and make assumptions about other fans who want to purchase tickets for our local Derby.... I struggle to believe that we actually have people with this type of mentality amongst our ranks..👎

Every club has, and needs floating fans. Not everyone can go to every game. They are still fans and should always be prioritised over away fans.
The 2007 game has been properly highlighted as them doing exactly the same as we are now doing

Some people buy season tickets for a reason that reason being you pay up front to watch 23 homes and put essential cash flow into the club for that coming season

I don’t think putting £28 into the club for a one off game this season constitutes feck all really if truth be known.

And your questioning my loyalty? 🤔

Yes... Damn right I question your loyalty. Let's face it you've flip / flopped with Fleetwood for years and now you're in bed with knob end...

You have absolutely no idea whatsoever about the individuals who are buying tickets in the East Stand (none whatsoever)... You assume from your Ivory Season Ticket Seat, but you have no clue.

They may be a regular, who missed out on tickets the other day, they may only be able to afford a limited number of games, they may live abroad and be coming over specially...Not that it matters in any case whatever the reason..

What they are is a Pool Supporter and one single Pool Supporter is worth 1000 Knobbers any day of the week!!

What's your concern? Bothered that you might miss out on a ticket for the return fixture?

I wondered when the old Fleetwood card would come out pathetic.

I’am out as I’am clearly wasting my time as your clearly not taking in what I’am saying here I’am simply trying to get the best outcome for both sets of fans here and I’am most certainly not putting their fans before ours like you keep harping on about.

It’s all so boring now so Good night.

Twice that I know you've either questioned the legitimacy of Blackpool Fans you consider to be less loyal than yourself being prioritised for tickets ahead of Preston Fans... That couldn't be clearer, regardless of the backtracking.

Anyway Goodnight and who knows we might even get another allocation for our own fans at our own ground (how novel is that)👍

Anyone who wants more away fans in the stadium is not a Blackpool FC fan. And there's a reason this prick is on the ignore list.

I’am all for putting are own fans first I’ve never said otherwise have I?

Doing what I suggest (as others have suggested already) would make both parties happy more away tickets and more home tickets pretty sure we would have then had our full allocation 5k+ for deepdale now however it sounds like we won’t and I for one can’t blame them if that’s the case.

And as regards jumping to the defence of rival clubs, I think you’re talking out of your arse (nothing personal just my opinion) It’s about being fair and securing the maximum number of ticket for the return leg sadly it’s not now not going to be the case come March.
Given the demand for home tickers with 3 weeks still to go, we should cancel the away allocation altogether and refund the Nobbers with tickets and have a full capacity Bloomfield Rd with no need for segregation.

No it hasn’t been reduced….

They were expecting a bigger allocation based on what other clubs had been given.

Blackburn and Barnsley were both given an additional allocation.
Reduced as in less than those other teams got. For our greatest and closest rivals that's how they see it.

They are seeing what they want to see and not understanding the lesser home demand side of it for the other games.

That's the only reason they got more.

PNE were told from the off no more tickets for them.

"PNE face Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on Saturday 23rd October, with a 3pm kick-off, and the club have been given an allocation of 2,200 tickets for this fixture, with no further tickets available."

How much more clear could it be?

They also completely misunderstand the safety angle, as it's safer having home fans where they have been put than pne fans in a similar area nearer halfway and closer to the north.

Add in the fact they reduced our allocation when they had less capacity, when the stadium was redeveloped, then you have to ask WTF is going on here.

Buch of crying hypocrites who just can't grasp the situation.

But, how they see it is where I came in to the thread, that's all.
They’re miffed because they have been given a lower allocation than they expected, not because their allocation has been reduced.

I realise that might feel like me and others being pedantic, but it’s an important distinction.

We have knobbers thinking that they are somehow justified in calling for some kind of tit-for-tat allocation ‘reduction’.

This is a simple matter of prioritising home supporters.

Oh well if I can't get tickets for the return match legitimately, I'll have to have a think if I know anyone living there. It's difficult to not jump up & cheer though & pretend to be pissed off & not burst out laughing.

Should be easy enough.

Ridiculous! Our fans come 1st, end of!

Brings back happy memories. Thought I would be away but that was cancelled and I couldn’t get a ticket for the famous “penalty” game at Preston. Wrangled a ticket in the home end. Never was I so happy; also how incredibly difficult not to raise the roof when we scored. Remember leaving the ground with the depressed mob, pretending to be devastated, while longing to be with our supporters as the torrential rain couldn’t dampen the joy.
