Certainly a pr disaster, you would have thought the palace mandarins would have tested the wat before sending them to the slaughter.

Imo, if they want to ditch the queen, let them. As for reparations, maybe we should demand the same fro Italy, after all, the Romans took slaves and sold them at slave markets. How far back do you go.

13 million Africans were taken across the Atlantic. Completely different scale and it decimated the progression of Africa.

Probably prevented the Africans decimating each other in tribal wars. I think the brutality of Africans against fellow Africans has resulted in far more than 13 million deaths.
Check recent history from Biafra onwards and see how many deaths you can accurately report.
I also think a lot of slaves were taken by opposing tribes to sell on.
No doubt you will infer this is a racist response, but it is basically factual which is a concept you will struggle to understand

So slavery saved African people from killing each other? Perhaps you should read up on WW1 and WW2 and wished that European people had been enslaved and brutalised for centuries then tossed aside with nothing when made free, your response is ** pathetic.

I haven’t reported anyone, not me I’m afraid. Then why make the point that more were taken from Africa, it’s irrelevant, slavery no matter what is wrong no matter the colour of someone’s skin or where they come from. If you dont understand that you are part of the problem.

as for the rest of the day, I’m taking two helium filled balloons to my mum’s ahead of her 95th birthday tomorrow, then taking my cousin to see the new sails on Lytham windmill ahead of going to the game

Is all slavery bad? I mean, I quite like getting cheap socks from Primark and I'm typing this out on a smartphone. Also drive an EV. All of which will have been made by slaves to a greater or lesser degree. Quite looking forward to the World Cup later this year too.

I don't believe there's a single poster on this board who hasn't got at least one slave.
