Whilst we need transfers in, I think back to when we were excellent against Birmingham (even though they were poor) and we still have the squad from that day ...

Looking at how we and others are set up at the moment, here’s my predictions - in brackets are if we add 3/4 decent quality additions before we kick off.

Reading (h) - 3 (3)
Stoke (a) - 0 (1)
Swansea (h) - 1 (1)
QPR (a) - 0 (0)
Burnley (a) - (0) (0)
Bristol City (h) - 1 (3)1
 
Very very hard to say under a new manager & not knowing who will be signed by then, absolutely wouldn’t be very confident of beating Reading either for that reason
 
Never look past the first game and if Reading are looking at 8 trialists I can't see them being much better than last season and would like to think even with the squad we now have we'd have the beating of them.
