Pompy fans

Regarding the thread subheader: 'Pompy fans'.

Hardly something you would sleep over, but can you imagine, as a Pool fan, checking out one of the Portsmouth FC forums, in advance of our recent home fixture, and coming across a thread entitled: Seasighder fans (?)

I suspect you'd be feeling a tad p-----d off at the glaring error. So, is there any reason why Portsmouth followers won't be feeling equally annoyed at the appalling misspelling (Pompy) of the nickname of their beloved club? As it's a name comprising the grand total of just 6 individual letters/characters (P O M P E Y), I don't think there is any justifiable reason or excuse for such a grave oversight.

Can we please take care to avoid any similar such mistakes in future.

Pompy is spot on 👍👍

Yep, hideous, monotonous, slow, droning stuff. 🥴 Not inspirational in any way. Living on the South Coast, I’ve had to endure years of Pompey and Saints fans, singing their respective monotonous, repetitive footy ‘songs’. 😖
Surely the worst is the Millwall droning noise
