I don’t think this article tells us anything we didn’t already know.
One of the problems with capitalism. We're surrounded by very rich, dodgy people who own everything!Wouldn't it be somewhat ironic if Sadler fails the thing that BST and the FSA have been banging on about for the last 10 years or so
130k a year ffs, that's less the most directors of football at league 2 clubsPotential first big test for BRR when he becomes our new Football Governance Overlord
It would, it's not gone unnoticed. But rules are rules, I guess. And that's why were are, believe it or not, very fortunate to have some very clued-up, well informed, well connected people working, often unnoticed, on behalf of the fans/club rather than the business/owners.Wouldn't it be somewhat ironic if Sadler fails the thing that BST and the FSA have been banging on about for the last 10 years or so

You know what will happen. Start off with all good intentions but then it'll come out that whoever fronts it up once ignored a Parking Eye charge for staying over an hour at a Lidl and they'll have to resign.Ridiculous to be honest and one of the things i was worried about
Could have the chair of the regulator turning up in his company car Mondeo telling a crown prince billionaire that they have to stop spending money

I'm not sure you can there's always going to be conflicts of interest and question marks over the individuals and their own actions.Or that they once bought a Liverpool shirt when they were 11 so aren't really independent
For a football role how do you actually get someone independent?

Would be a real shame if so and he didn't even have chance to implement the east and TG, projects we needed and that would have changed the club forever. He’s gonna sell the club
I can't read it. Anyone got a clearer version?
I can't believe we got 23 posts in before someone pointed out the obvious, you can barely read the bloody thing.I can't read it. Anyone got a clearer version?

For the very first time I really really hope you are right. I said from the very beginning things weren't right and have had pelters for 4 years as I have stood firmly by my opinion. I will be in the minority again but the sooner he sells the better as far as I'm concerned. He’s gonna sell the club
Putting the Club on the market is one thing, finding a buyer is another ball game. For the very first time I really really hope you are right. There are people out there, they just need to be better than the current owner and the previous waste of times. I think it will be under new owners this season, fingers crossed.Putting the Club on the market is one thing, finding a buyer is another ball game.
I could actually read the image in the o/p although it was a bit of a struggle.Just had a look at the Planet Football website because I couldn't read the article.....
There's nothing on there about Blackpool....or this report???
In fact it just quizzes and articles about forgotten footballer in China and possible new careers for Jose Mourinho.....(Hairdresser is a definite)
No football news or anything......So what did the article say...?
Hertford......You must get a hard on every time Sadlers mentioned on here
Did he shag someone in your family or bully you at school.....?....Go on, tell us what he did to make you hate him with this much passion..????
Beat me to it. That's my worry because buyers weren't exactly queuing round the block when SS bought the club.Putting the Club on the market is one thing, finding a buyer is another ball game.
Why are you such a tvvat? I have been consistent in my criticism and I am going to be proved right. I'm not happy about that because I was ecstatic that we had got rid of the vermin and I wanted the next owner to be someone who would really make a difference. Well, has he? Is he doing? Be honest. If you want me to be personal like you and lower myself to your level, do you have a hard on when you look at his pictures on your bedroom wall and lay on your pillows with his face on? I don't hate him, I have never said I hate him, I have nothing to hate him for, I just haven't ever been convinced he was the right owner from us and I still think that and have done without wavering. I wish I was wrong, but please tell me how you saw us 4/5 years after he took over, did you anticipate us where we are with a real staleness about the place?Just had a look at the Planet Football website because I couldn't read the article.....

BothDon't know what's worse: Sadler in trouble or the realisation that we will still be playing 3-5-2 next season.
What's the gist Mark?Tbh the Eye article is a pretty thorough summary of the situation and illustrates how this could potentially play out. We should take it seriously.
You are quite unique in your total obsession with Sadler...and EVERY comment you make about him, is blinded by your bias for the guy?Why are you such a tvvat? It's a public sector appointment isn't it. So the salary was never going to be anything comparable to the industry it sets out to hold to account.Ridiculous to be honest and one of the things i was worried about

So it's okay for you to ask if he's shagged any of my relatives then? I would say that was being a tvvat. You are quite unique in your total obsession with Sadler...and EVERY comment you make about him, is blinded by your bias for the guy?
I would say that 99% of your comments are just you, having a go at the guy.
Can you tell me any actual facts that would make me (or anyone else) actually understand why he's not the right owner.....?
I would love to understand what are you not 'convinced' by, that the majority of fans can't see?
What has he done that says he's not 100% behind the club.........What convinced you that will convince me?
I don't think you can blame him for the managers they hire.....it's a lottery, you pick the best and if they don't work out....you hire another one
Look what happened at clubs like Hull, Birmingham, Sunderland, PNE, Wet Spam......It's always a managerial merry-go-round
So there's no real reason to call me a ** or have a go, it's a simple question
But i'm off to bed.....I will have a wonderful nights sleep under my Simon Sadler duvet and pillow.....
Mr InconspicuousDon't knock Mondeos.
Won’t sell until pp is granted.Would be a real shame if so and he didn't even have chance to implement the east and TG, projects we needed and that would have changed the club forever.
I wonder actually what would happen as some agreements with the Council etc are in place, would it carry on or be a condition of the sale...
There are people out there, billionaires looking for clubs... Wycombe got one recently, no idea who he is or if he's any good...
Like critchley a decent no 2 is needed. Been obvious for both tbh.Beat me to it. That's my worry because buyers weren't exactly queuing round the block when SS bought the club.
Either way, it would be good if SS could find a reliable investment partner to part-own the club.

I also looked on Planet Football and did find some stuff on Blackpool but not that article.
Blackpool Football News
The best Blackpool content on Planet Football. Featuring exclusive interviews, tributes to great players past and present, brilliant quizzes, videos and much more.www.planetfootball.com
the mag feature is called Planet FootballIt's not from 'Planet Football' website - It's a Private Eye article and Private Eye doesn't publish stuff online to my knowledge.
Is that it?So it's okay for you to ask if he's shagged any of my relatives then? I would say that was being a tvvat.
I have praised Sadler for his dealings off the pitch and steadying the ship after the vermin vacated the building. However, 5 years on and no shovels in the ground for a new training Ground, an East Stand and a high turnover of staff. We were in League 1 when he took over we got the the Championship but several appalling managerial appointments have been down to him, how can you say they haven't? And we are still stuck with the awful Critchley. Communication has been absolutely terrible since he took over and is now practically non existent, he treats his customers like they are naughty school children and the promotion of the club and the poor ticket pricing is all down to I'm.
We now have the revelations that he has been charged with criminal offences in Hong Kong and of course he may well be innocent, and I hope he is, but this is not what we want for the club, now, or any time. If he is found guilty then the chances are he will be made to sell because of the new rules. I never thought he really wanted it in the first place and regretted it almost immediately and he needs to have his finger on the pulse with the business that is the most important to him and the distraction of a football club is too much.
There is no guarantee a new owner will be any better but they could be and he may have his hand forced anyway. Like I have continually said I think he was mad buying it, if I had his money I certainly wouldn't;t want to buy the club, total madness. I hope he is found not guilty but sees that he made a mistake purchasing the club and looks to find a new owner, there are people out there and the club is a lot better off now than when the vermin had it. Oh and he has loans to the club that he can pull back at any time.
You got pelters because your opinion from day one was based on nothing factual. For the very first time I really really hope you are right. I said from the very beginning things weren't right and have had pelters for 4 years as I have stood firmly by my opinion. I will be in the minority again but the sooner he sells the better as far as I'm concerned.
Indeed, because when you drill down, the club is not much further on from when SS took over. We have infrastructure plans, but they are just that, with significant investment needed. We are L1 again and the good feeling vibe has gone, really due to the turgid football under Critchley.Putting the Club on the market is one thing, finding a buyer is another ball game.
