Anyone else caught this on more4? Started last night 8pm and continues all week. Made a really good transition from radio to tv imo. Ken Bruce as good on the telly as he is on the radio.👍

I think that Sinon has proven that any DJ worth his salt will do well in this format.
Steve was good but couldn't keep up🤷

Steve was like a rabbit in the headlights after Si’s 36/39. You’re right tho dj’s definitely have an unfair advantage.

Right then answer these 2 questions : A) First Liverpool act to have a top 5 hit on the USA Billboard charts. Also name the song?
B) Well known radio DJ who was briefly a member of Skrewdriver?

The answer to question A is not The Beatles, not a group, it is a solo singer who had a hit in 1957 with the B side of the record release which got all the radio plays.Who is this singer....?

I found it strange really.
I have listened to Ken Bruce and pop Master since it started but I just couldn’t take to the TV version for some reason.

No it is a male singer. Not a famous name.Had a couple of chart hits in the late 50's. Recording career fizzled out in the 60's though he continued to tour in the 70/80s and was popular in Japan .

Tough question so to give you a huge clue in regards to the title of the hit song :Sometimes you see this in the sky but more often than not you don't.

B)Mark Radcliffe.
A) I'm guessing at 'the new Seekers' (edit, read thread now)

I'm right and I'm wrong!

I watched it but can't stand Ken Bruce and some of contestants are freaks the knowledge they keep in their heads. The woman who was on was not normal, she knew everything, it was quite annoying. Not for me I'm afraid, not my sort of thing in any way.

We used to do Heardle every night before we went to sleep, loved it, then Spotify bought it for millions and completely ruined it by using really obscure American music so it was basically impossible. Funnily enough they are ditching it as a loss, so just wasted a fortune, which they don't care about so what was a great music quiz won't even exist now because the big boys thought they knew best.
